Charlie was born in Hampshire, England in 1969 and was brought up and educated in France, England and the USA.  After leaving school in 1987, he went to work at the famous Bordeaux wine estate, Château Prieuré-Lichine in Margaux, Bordeaux learning all aspects of winemaking and viticultureAfter three years he helped his father start and develop the family wine brand Les Jamelles, which later went on to become one of the most successful wine brands from the South of FranceAfter two successful years with his wine brokerage business, he sold it off and moved back to the US.  Here he continued to help with US sales of Les Jamelles but also followed his other great passion of food and the hospitality industry by helping to manage the famous Caribou Club in AspenA few years later he moved to Denver to help his father run Mel’s Bar and Grill, and then opened the successful restaurant and wine bar, Brix, which is one of the most loved wine bars in DenverHe later sold Brix to return to the wine business and rejoin the family company as Vice President of Master Wines where he is involved in all aspects of the business, including sourcing and blending their wine brandsToday he is a partner and National Sales Director of the Company and lives in Elliot, Maine.
