I realized my passion for wine at an early age and was fortunate enough to start my career as a Regional sales Manager in the Spanish domestic market for Somontano Area winery, Bodegas Laus. After 2 ½ years developing our domestic presence, I was tasked with expanding our export footprint as the Export Area Manager.

I worked for 8 ½ years in the Export Department of Bodegas Laus before I decided to join one of Spain´s premier wine groups “Grupo Faustino” which is comprised of seven estates and wineries in five different appellations of origin, since the Faustino brand is one of the world’s most recognized Spanish wines. I worked for 4 years at Grupo Faustino managing the Scandinavian, Irish and Asian Pacific business of the group.

In 2014, I accepted the role as a Senior Export Area Manager in one of Spain´s most prestigious wine groups “Grupo Baron de Ley” which includes two leading Rioja wineries: El Coto de Rioja and Baron de Ley (which represents 95% of our business) The wine group also had smaller brands like Finca Museum winery in the boutique Cigales DO, Bodegas Máximo (VDT) and our only non-wine project Dehesa Baron de Ley where we produce 100% acorn fed ham of the best quality.

At Baron de Ley I am responsible for the business of the group in the UK, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Ireland, Canada, México and just recently I am starting to get involved in our US business. Our group is enjoying a great success in the International Markets, our objective is to develop our business further and I definitely want to be part of this exciting enterprise for many years to come.
