It all started back in 1995, when globally recognized and awarded Michael Fairbrother tried a cyser (apple and honey mead) for the first time. Since that first sip he has developed a passion and a masterful skill at making international award-winning meads and ciders. He started Moonlight Meadery®, with a mission to bring ultra-premium meads and ciders to the market place. It is more than a product and it is more than a process, it’s…his obsession. Moonlight Meadery is considered one of the two top meaderies in the world, as mentioned in 9/14 issue of Modern Farmer and rated 2017 top brewery (even though technically a winery) and top beer for Utopian (technically a mead aged in beer barrels) in NH by AHA (American Homebrewers Association).
Currently our meads and ciders are available in 44 states (and climbing), with distribution in United States, Australia, Japan, China recently exporting to Canada.
