Mark Neal

Owner and President
Neal Family Vineyards

Mark Neal’s life-long involvement working in the Napa Valley, started at the age of 7. His Father Jack started a vineyard management company in 1968 and the two would work side-by-side planting, training vines, harvesting, and pruning. As a young adult, Mark chose to augment his education with viticultural and winemaking studies at Santa Rosa Junior College. While there, he was instrumental in the development of the school’s vineyards. In 1984, Mark decided to implement organic farming for the vineyards at Jack Neal and Son (JNS), which is today’s largest Certified Organic Growers in the North Coast.

Upon his father’s passing in 1994, Mark assumed the position of Owner and President of Jack Neal & Son, Inc. (JNS). The company has grown considerably under his management and Mark has worked hard to ensure the company provides the same excellent service, commitment to quality, and personal attention to its clients that were Jack’s founding principles. In 1998, Mark decided to build a winery and make his first vintage for consumers. The winery is located in Howell Mountain and is also a Certified Organic Wine Production Facility. Neal Family wines bottles around 5000 cases annually.
