Brian is a Distiller by trade but recently found a love for winemaking. Growing up just south of the Finger Lakes Region Brian has been around vineyards and wine most of his life. He began his career as the Assistant Distiller for Finger Lakes Distilling on Seneca Lake where he helped maintain the vineyards when he wasn’t learning how to run a still. After a few years, he moved to Grand Cayman to be the Head Distiller for Cayman Spirits Co. In 2013 he moved to Flag Hill in Lee, NH. After falling in love with the property and the vineyard Brian purchased Flag Hill Winery and Distillery in the summer of 2015. His primary passion is distilling whiskey, but really enjoys the challenge of making great wines from non-vinifera grapes. Flag Hill is currently the largest vineyard in the state growing all Minnesota hybrid and French American hybrid grapes.
